A flexible approach to this work pattern is required, as the role will require evening and weekend work which would be agreed in advance.

What the opportunity looks like:
The Experience Host & Administrator has two main responsibilities.
Firstly, as a Host, the postholder will help the Private Clients Team deliver faultless experiences to their invited guests, with duties ranging from welcoming guests, preparing and serving drinks, sharing brand stories when appropriate, facilitating purchases and providing general assistance as required.
The incumbent will also ensure that consumers will always remember their visit to The Dalmore by supporting pre-visit preparations, leading intimate groups around the Experience, conducting tastings of our world class single malt Scotch whiskies and assisting guests in our exclusive Boutique before finally saying goodbye as they depart.
Secondly, as an Administrator, the individual will support the Brand Home Team and the Whisky Experience Team with tasks including booking travel arrangements, managing Purchase Orders, and liaising with suppliers.
Researching guests preferences ahead of visits and briefing the wider team to tailor the experience to individual visitors.
Warmly welcoming guests on arrival, checking in coats and personal belongings and escorting them to the lounge area.
Leading world class tours and tastings with consumers, ensuring that the key messages of brand, process, heritage and liquids are suitably delivered to create a lifetime of advocacy from each and every visitor to The Dalmore.
Assisting in the day-to-day running of the Brand Home including producing guest manifests, pre & post visit communications, preparing purchase orders, creating rotas, etc.
Making travel arrangements for visiting guests including restaurant & hotel bookings, chauffeur services and onward travel arrangements.
Supporting the Whisky Experience Executive as required. This could include uploading items onto the company Digital Asset Management systems and managing team diaries.
Skills and experience that will help you be a success:
For this role we're looking for:
Luxury retail and/ or hospitality experience essential.
Experience of food and drink preparation desirable.
A knowledge of the whisky industry or similar is preferred.
Admin experience including raising purchase orders, creating rotas, making travel arrangements is desirable.
Computer literate with strong skills in MS Office.
Exceptional multi-tasking and organisational skills.
