We are seeking a dedicated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles. Responsibilities
Remove and replace tyres using appropriate hand and power tools with precision and care
Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and proper inflation levels
Perform wheel balancing and alignment procedures as required
Assist in the realignment of wheels to manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot tyre-related issues effectively
Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large or heavy tyres
Fitting, diagnosing and programming tyre pressure sensors

Skills
Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle tyre systems
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
Experience with power tools used in tyre fitting and repair processes
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often handling tyres weighing several kilograms
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and installations
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy workshop environment
