Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering outstanding service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food safety practices.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and drink orders, relaying them efficiently to the kitchen staff. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including food preparation and maintaining food safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Handle cash and card transactions accurately while adhering to restaurant policies.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. A genuine passion for guest services and culinary excellence. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with guests positively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
