Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced 7.5t recovery driver for twin deck car transporter to join our team. The role will be collecting scrap vehicles from customer locations in and around Gloucestershire; Herefordshire; Cardiff; Bristol; Newport and Worcestershire and bringing back to the yard in Cinderford. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in recovery work. No night working.

All successful applicants MUST possess the correct licence for the role, have a valid tacho card & a valid CPC. Full training will be given to suitable candidate.

5 day week. Saturday mornings when required. Weekly pay.

Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations including daily vehicle checks. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate driving records and complete necessary paperwork as required. Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly to management. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety. Good customer service.

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles. Previous experience as a recovery driver or similar is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers. A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.
