Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join out team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be able to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to fabricate and assemble component's according to specifications. Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for this role as well as high quality welds.

Perform Tig Welding on various materials, primarily sheet metal, ensuring high standards of quality & safety. Utilise stick welding techniques when required for specific projects Fabricate and assemble metal components based on engineering drawings and specifications. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet the required standards Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhere to all Health & Safety Regulations Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication Collaborate effectively with team members to optimise workflow and resolve any issues that arise during the welding process
Experience

Proven experience in welding, particularly Tig Welding is essential Utilise stick welding techniques when required for specific projects Experience working with sheet metal is preferred Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for this role A background in fabrication or assembly work is preferred.
