Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly experienced Assistant Manager to join our high-class pub management team. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of our establishment. With your strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, you will help maintain the pub\'s reputation for excellence, uphold high standards of service, and create a welcoming environment for our patrons.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

- Assist the Pub Manager in leading and supervising pub staff, including bartenders, servers, and support personnel.

- Foster a positive and cohesive team culture, motivating team members to deliver exceptional service.

2. Customer Service Excellence:

- Ensure that customers receive outstanding service and have a memorable experience at the pub.

- Address customer feedback and concerns promptly, striving to exceed customer expectations.

3. Operations and Efficiency:

- Collaborate with the Pub Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the pub, including opening and closing procedures.

- Optimize pub workflow and efficiency to meet high-class standards and handle peak business hours effectively.

4. Inventory Management:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including beverages, supplies, and merchandise.

- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely restocking to avoid shortages.

5. Quality Control and Hygiene:

- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the pub.

- Conduct regular quality checks on food and beverages to maintain consistent quality.

6. Financial Management:

- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to support the pub\'s profitability.

- Monitor cash handling procedures and implement measures to prevent discrepancies.

7. Events and Promotions:

- Plan, coordinate, and execute special events, promotions, and entertainment activities to attract and retain customers.

8. Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, including licensing and health and safety standards.

9. Training and Development:

- Facilitate training sessions for pub staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

- Identify staff development needs and support career growth within the team.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager in a high-class pub or upscale hospitality establishment.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build positive relationships with customers and team members.

- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including food and beverage service, pub operations, and industry trends.

- Outstanding customer service orientation with a keen eye for detail.

- Proficiency in financial management and inventory control.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the pub\'s operating hours.

Compensation:

- Hourly Wage: \xc2\xa315

- Weekly Hours: 40-45 hours (full-time)
