Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barmaid/Waitress to join our team. As a Barmaid/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Your role will also involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies

- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, menu items, and promotions

- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere

- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations

- Take food orders and serve meals when ready

- Washing up when needed

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential

- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change

- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices

- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
