Welcome to Standon Hall--where history meets great hospitality and the drinks flow as smoothly as our weddings. Nestled in the stunning Staffordshire countryside, we're a Grade II listed wedding and events venue with a bar that's as much a star of the show as the bride and groom.

We're on the lookout for a quick-witted, cocktail-shaking, whiskey-loving bartender to join us on a casual basis. If you can keep up with the fast pace of a busy wedding bar, love a well-crafted drink, and know the difference between a Negroni and an Old Fashioned, we want you behind our bar!

Your Role

Think fast, fun, and full of flair--this isn't your average pub shift! You'll be:

Shaking, stirring, pouring, and perfecting every drink with style. Running a busy wedding bar where speed and quality go hand in hand. Creating a warm, engaging atmosphere--because great service is just as important as a great cocktail. Helping guests navigate our top-shelf spirits, fine wines, and craft cocktails Keeping the bar looking sharp and fully stocked--because nobody likes an empty gin shelf. Surviving late finishes and high-energy events like a true hospitality pro.
What We're Looking For

We need someone who's got skills, speed, and a solid sense of humour.

2+ years' experience in a fast-paced bar, hotel, or event setting. A genuine love for top-quality drinks--if you know your way around a cocktail menu, even better! WSET wine & spirits knowledge is a huge plus (or at least a willingness to learn). A friendly, chatty personality--we want guests to remember the service as much as the drinks. Cool under pressure--because wedding bars can go from calm to chaos in 60 seconds. Reliable and flexible, happy to work weekends and late nights. A way to get here--we're in the countryside, so transport is a must.

Schedule & Availability

Evenings and weekends are essential--this is a wedding venue, after all. Expect late finishes and high-energy shifts. Casual contract--hours will vary depending on events.
