Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic,experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team for our busiest period over Christmas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in bartending within a restaurant environment. You will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our guests by serving high-quality beverages and providing outstanding knowledge and customer service. This role will be temporary over Christmas, with the potential of staying on in the new year based on success.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to food safety standards and regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage inventory levels, including noting supply levels and ensuring stock is rotated effectively. Train and mentor junior bartenders, fostering a collaborative team environment. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for billing purposes. Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in bartending within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike. A proactive approach to problem-solving, always ready to help where needed. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Temp to perm

Pay: 12.21-12.22 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
