Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and hard working Beauty Therapist who is keen to join our busy, friendly long established beauty salon of over 35 years in South Croydon.

We have a lovely long standing client base with a reputation for providing outstanding client service. We are a team who work closely together and support each other at all times. Some in house training is available if needed so you must be eager to adapt and be open to some supervision if necessary. Part of our success is built on developing the very best attentive therapists. We open Tuesday to Saturday and our full working week is 38 hours, with late opening and closing Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8pm.

We are looking for a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent candidate who has a minimum of 3 + years verifiable salon experience in a variety of treatments. You need to be very approachable and a genuine team player, warm, friendly, reliable, well presented, and have a strong work ethic with a passion for our industry. You will provide treatments on the rest of the team to ensure it is of a high quality for ongoing client satisfaction as well as experience them for yourself understanding our clients' journey. The team all lends a hand to ensure front of house reception duties are met and the salon is clean and tidy. Good spoken and written English is a must as well as a valid work permit. References from previous employers are required as well as certificates for proof of qualifications.

The ideal candidate must have experience and be competent in:

Waxing/Intimate waxing/Hot Wax, Manicure and Pedicure/Gel Polish application, Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Spray Tanning, Brow and Lash/Lifting treatments, Facials/Electrical/Micro-dermabrasion/AHA Chemical Peels and, Electrolysis and IPL experience would be ideal.
