We pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming environment where residents receive the care they need without challenging behaviours. Our team is supported around the clock by managers and proprietors to ensure the best possible care.

We never use agency staff and part of role will be to cover holiday and sickness cover as per contract of employment.

Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carers to join our team, of caring and compassionate Carers at Heaton House. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a nurturing environment. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the high standards of care that we uphold.

Wages - 12.50 weekday / 13.50 weekend with an enhancement of 1.00 per hour for lead shifts worked.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support residents in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort and enabling residents to reach their maximum potential, whilst travelling along their dementia journey. Communicate effectively with residents to understand their needs and preferences. Maintain accurate records of care plans and resident progress. Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care strategies. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in caregiving.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation. Understanding of care plans and how to implement them effectively. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
