We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects.
Duties
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
Perform tasks such as framing, roofing, and joinery with precision.
Fabricate custom pieces according to project specifications.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square while adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
Conduct painting and finishing work as required for completed projects.
Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians and masons on larger projects.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role is essential.
Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including joinery, roofing, and masonry is advantageous.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry tasks.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality craftsmanship.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
