CARPENTER WANTED - Long established family-run company seeks a full-time experienced Carpenter to join our team.

Based in Shepherdswell Kent and covering the surrounding areas to include Dover, Deal, Canterbury, Sandwich, Folkestone, Hythe & surrounding villages.

Must be able to do 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry. Mainly for new builds, extensions & refurbishments in South East Kent.

Able to work independently or as part of a team as required. On occasion when no carpentry work is required, the ability to muck in & help the other trades would be required.

Mon - Fri 8am to 4.45pm. 40 Hours per week. 45 mins unpaid lunch break. 18.75 per hour.

28 days holiday per annum to include bank holidays and a compulsory 2-week shutdown at Christmas. Permanent job for the right candidate after a six-month trial period is successfully completed. A driving license is required.

Required skills:
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and building regulations.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labour.
