Do you have face to face carpet & flooring sales experience?

Are you experienced in carrying out home visits as a carpet & flooring estimator?

We are a reputable domestic carpet fitting company established in 2007. Over the last 18 years we have expanded to 5 branches across the UK, as well as our online store.

We are a family run business and have an ethos of ensuring the customer needs come first, treating customers how we would like to be treated.

We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service and due to continued growth we are looking for the right candidate to join our experienced sales team as an experienced estimator.

This role will be based in our Burton on Trent store, however occasional cover in other stores may be required.

The Carpet Estimator & Sales advisor job role involves:

Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone to ensure they purchase the right products/ services that they need.

- carrying out home visits to take precise measurements and provide a home consultation service

Sharing product knowledge and giving advice to customers

Providing customers with estimates

Responding to email / social media enquiries

Updating customer details using a CRM software system

Ensuring the store is kept presentable and tidy

Supporting colleagues within the store

In order to be successful the following is required:

Strong communication skills Good understanding of arithmetic Face to face sales experience Experience of working as a flooring estimator Basic understanding of cutting/laying carpets Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent level of customer service Smart appearance Have confidence when dealing with customers Have a full UK Driving license
