We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, along with excellent leadership skills to manage a dynamic kitchen environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to menu specifications.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking methods, food safety practices, and restaurant protocols.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly.
Requirements
Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
In-depth knowledge of food production techniques and culinary best practices.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating diverse dishes.
Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
