Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed whilst minimising waste
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols
Skills
Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management
Excellent cooking skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Effective communication skills to liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences
Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
