Job Description

We are seeking a person who knows turkish food.. who knows how to grill meats and be able to use own initiative to join our team in the kitchen in a turkish restaurant. And be able to not need to be taught the basics of turkish food. We need someone who has previously worked in a turkish fast food restaurant who can join our restaurant and start cooking! We have a few members who cook. But we need to be able to allocate days off by adding in another chef to take the work load off.

Experience is a must. We will only accept someone who does not need to be taught.. so ideally someone whos worked in a turkish fast food takeaway or chef in a kitchen before. Please do not apply if you need to learn. Because this role is for someone who can get stuck straught in.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's standards. Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service.

Experience

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership abilities. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Experience in team management, fostering a positive work environment for all staff members.
