Crew Member

The Kraken Chippy

is now hiring for a full-time Experienced Crew Member at our store in East Kilbride. We are looking for highly confident, friendly, energetic and self-motivated people who are eager to make a difference in our customer's lives.

JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare food items according to The Kraken Chippy standards, set up stations with utensils and supplies, and to ensure all customers are greeted and served with a smile

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

- Take in stock deliveries
- Prepare food orders for customers and take cash and card payments
- Assist store manager and other team members when needed
- Maintain a clean and orderly store environment

- Train new staff to standard
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectivelyAbility to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours)Ability to work alone without supervision while maintaining high standards

Experience prepping and sorting in a chippy, cafe or deli etc is 100% necessary

This is not an easy job for the faint hearted who just want to have a chat and an easy ride. Don't be fooled, we are a very busy shop.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
