About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Deep Excavation Operative to join our team within the Water and Utilities sector. The role involves carrying out deep excavation, trenching, drainage, and pipe installation works to a high standard, often in live utility environments.

You'll be responsible for ensuring all works are delivered safely and efficiently, including the installation of temporary works systems and trench support. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong groundworks experience who's confident working to specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out deep excavations, trenching, and ground support works Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary works systems safely and correctly Installing Water mains, drainage and ducting Assisting with connection, repair, and maintenance works on live networks Operating or assisting with plant and machinery as required Following site plans, drawings, and health & safety procedures Ensuring work areas are left clean, tidy, and reinstated to specification

Requirements

? Proven experience in deep excavations, drainage, and utilities work

? Knowledge and experience in installing temporary works systems

? CSCS card (essential)

? EUSR Cat 4 & 5 installation Temporary Works (essential)

? EUSR water hygiene card (preferred)

? Full UK driving licence

? Strong understanding of site safety and safe digging practices

? Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
