We have an enthusiastic team providing an excellent foundation for a keen Dental Nurse. Our patient journey is very important to us. We are a mixed practice offering NHS and Private treatments. We offer a wide range of treatments such as Implants, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Sedation and Cosmetic/General Dentistry.

A Full-time nurse to work 4/5 days a week is required. Competent experienced dental assistant who can help the practice manager with specific duties and manage the daily running in surgery. Ensuring excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist's shoulders. Well organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental team regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make surgery procedures run as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities:

Prepare customers for treatments or check-ups ensuring their comfort

Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed

Sterilize instruments according to regulations

Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry

Undertake lab tasks as instructed

Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

Schedule appointments

Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Requirements:

Proven experience as Dental assistant

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

Understanding of health & safety regulations

Good computer skills, including Social Media platforms

Excellent communication and people skills

Attention to detail

Well-organized and reliable

Good pay rate, wages negotiable depending on experience, excellent opportunities to progress your career and look towards further qualifications such as Sedation, Radiography, Dental Implant nursing.
