Are you a dedicated and qualified dental nurse looking for a new opportunity in a warm, welcoming environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced dental nurse to join our friendly team at our well-established family dental practice, located in the heart of Lichfield. Having 10 surgeries, we offer a wide variety of dental and hygiene treatments and an in-house laboratory, there is a lot of variety here at Bore Street!

The role

As a key member of our clinical team, your responsibilities will include:

Chairside assistance across a wide range of dental and hygiene treatments

Maintaining meticulous records & ensuring high-standard infection control and cleanliness

Preparing & sterilising instruments and equipment in our decontamination room

Taking and processing X-rays (radiography qualification desirable but not essential).

Supporting patients through every stage of treatment.

Supporting the practice with general administrative tasks when required

Requirements

GDC registered dental nurse

Previous experience in a dental practice (minimum of 2 years - NHS and/or private)

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

A positive attitude and team spirit

A passion for delivering excellent dental care

Ability to use own initiative

Additional qualification (e.g. radiography, implants) is desirable but not essential

Hours: 32 hours per week

Monday - 8:30am - 5:30pm (1 hrs lunch)

Tuesday- 8:30am-5:30pm (1hr lunch)

Wednesday- 8:30am-5:30pm (1hr lunch)

Thursday- 8:30am - 5:30pm (1hr lunch)
