We are seeking a dedicated Dental Therapist to join our 7 surgery foundation training practice, providing specialised support to patients through evidence-based therapeutic techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy, medical imaging, and CAD applications to facilitate comprehensive treatment plans. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental health needs to develop personalised therapy programmes.
Utilise CAD software and medical imaging tools to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Apply knowledge of anatomy to inform therapeutic interventions and ensure safe practice standards.
Deliver individualised therapy sessions, adapting techniques based on patient progress and feedback.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and therapy outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
Stay informed about the latest developments in medical imaging technology and therapeutic methods through ongoing professional development.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working within an NHS or mixed practice setting. Experience with medical imaging techniques utilised for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene.
Compliance:
Full GDC registration with an active indemnity certificate and Hep B immunity status.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, a gentle chairside manner, and the ability to manage a busy NHS diary efficiently.
Mindset:
