An exciting opportunity to join our multi-award winning team.

Due to continued expansion, Saltmarine Cars we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the company and become part of our successful Aftersales team. Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing and repairing customer's vehicles to the highest standard in our modern vehicle workshops.

The Ideal Person:

You will have at least 3 years + time served as a vehicle technician with NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent. Experience in electrical repairs and the use of diagnostic equipment is also desirable. A full driving licence.
This is an exciting role for the right person with excellent mechanical skills to grow and develop within our company. On-going manufacturer training will also be provided.

Main Duties & Personal Skills:

Carry out inspections, maintenance & repairs on new and used vehicles Test, diagnose and identify any issues effectively Ensuring work is completed to standards and on time to achieve department targets To work using 'right first time approach' to increase customer satisfaction Successfully attend and apply manufacturer training and procedures (if required) Excellent communication skills to explain work and repairs to colleagues and customers A desire to deliver 100% customer satisfaction

Salary

OTE 35,000 depending on experience
