Located in the beautiful heart of Richmond, The Vineyard Organic Day Nursery is seeking an experienced, full-time Early Years Educator (qualified or unqualified) to join our team from July/August 2025. Rated Good by Ofsted and 9.9 on Day Nurseries, The Vineyard is a home-away-from home for children and staff alike and not like any other nursery. As Early Years Educator with us you will:



- ensure that children are cared for in a healthy and safe environment

-work cooperatively with colleagues to provide creative and engaging learning opportunities for young children to promote their development and learning.

Duties



Develop and deliver engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage daily routines, ensuring that children are cared for and supported throughout their time at the nursery. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support individual learning needs. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided. Drive initiatives that promote leadership within the nursery setting, encouraging teamwork among staff members.

Requirements



Subject to a clear DBS and good references the successful applicants for the Early Years Educator position will need:

Level 2 or above Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification or equivalent is preferable. However, we are happy to support the successful candidate to gain a qualification in Early Years. Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is required. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to fostering children's development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment and support children's growth.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
