Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate and experienced Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills within a dynamic early childhood setting. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with experience in childcare and early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure safety and well-being Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of development milestones Organise daily routines to ensure a balanced mix of learning, play, and rest Implement health and safety policies in accordance with regulatory standards Lead by example in promoting good behaviour and social skills among children Manage classroom resources efficiently and ensure the environment remains clean, safe, and inviting

Skills

Proven experience with children in a childcare or nursery setting Strong management and leadership abilities to guide both children and team members effectively Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues clearly Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices Ability to organise activities that support developmental milestones Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., CACHE Level 3 or equivalent) are desirable Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between settings or home visits A caring attitude combined with organisational skills to create a positive learning environment
