Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to lead high-impact, technically rewarding projects across the UK's critical infrastructure?

We're seeking a delivery-focused Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ulverston. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering electrical systems across a diverse range of projects. Our work spans sectors such as renewables, nuclear, defence, utilities, and advanced manufacturing--offering exposure to complex, nationally significant programmes.

What You'll Do:

Leading the design and specification of LV and HV systems Developing protection and control schemes, schematics, and cable calculations Managing delivery from concept through commissioning, including client and contractor coordination Reviewing technical work and mentoring junior engineers Ensuring compliance with BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, CDM, and project-specific standards Supporting power system studies (load flow, fault level, protection coordination) where required

What We're Looking For:

Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering 5+ years' experience in regulated or safety-critical sectors (e.g., energy, infrastructure, nuclear, defence) Strong grounding in electrical engineering design and delivery Familiarity with AutoCAD, Amtech, ETAP, or similar software Experience with or interest in power system studies (desirable) IEng or CEng registration, or working toward it
