Electrician - Domestic Maintenance & Fault Finding
Salary: 37,000 per year
Location: Chester & Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
DMJones Electrical is a well-established electrical contractor looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team. The role is mainly focused on domestic electrical maintenance and fault finding, with a large proportion of work coming from electrical insurance jobs.
Typical work includes:
1. Fault finding on lighting and power circuits
2. Investigating tripping RCDs/MCBs
3. Repairing and replacing sockets, switches, and lighting
4. Making unsafe electrical installations safe
5. Minor remedial works and small upgrades
6. Additional work may include consumer unit upgrades, partial rewires, and EV charger installations (training provided if required).
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
Strong fault-finding experience
Full UK Driving Licence
