ABOUT THE ROLE



The Onboarding Administrator ensures compliance with tax regulations across different jurisdictions and supports smooth operations for the organisation's financial and legal responsibilities. As an integral member of the Business Support team, the Onboarding Administrator assists clients with the preparation and submission of multi-country VAT registrations. The Onboarding Administrator works with ecommerce businesses, ranging from start-ups to multi-million-pound turnover businesses expanding worldwide. With a fantastic 'can do' attitude, you will complete VAT registrations from start to finish, whilst ensuring that our commitment to excellent customer service is upheld.

What You'll Do As An Experienced Onboarding Administrator



Oversee and process VAT registrations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Prepare, review, and submit accurate documentation required for VAT registrations. Coordinate with relevant authorities to obtain necessary documentation and approvals in a timely manner.

Perform Anti Money Laundering checks.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT requirements and changes in tax laws.

Undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks, including but not limited to filling in PDF, MS Excel and MS Word documents and updating templates and forms.

Act as a liaison between the Company, clients and tax authorities to resolve VAT-related queries.

Maintain and update the CRM system, and use the internal platform for document exchanges and communications with clients.

Maintain appropriate and professional verbal and written correspondence with clients, tax authorities and agents as necessary.

Work collaboratively with team members and other colleagues to ensure that the Onboarding processes are upheld and completed in a compliant and timely manner.

Help train members of the team as required and participate in any knowledge transfer opportunities (both imparting and acquiring knowledge) with SimplyVAT.com colleagues, to achieve our business goals.

Escalate as appropriate any matters to the Business Support Manager.

What You'll Need



Experience of working effectively in an administrative/office-based environment Solid experience in processing VAT registrations in multiple countries or tax administration Good understanding of VAT registrations and applicable laws, rules, obligations and regulations Solid customer service focus and problem-solving attitude Excellent attention to detail and a 'can do' attitude Methodical, organised and self-motivated Strong team working ethic and ability to work collaboratively Demonstrated ability to readily follow defined systems, procedures and protocols Proficient in the use of MS Office Word and Excel, Adobe, Translation tools and able to learn new systems quickly Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Written and spoken fluency in English (essential) and in another language (desirable)
