Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fencer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fencing, demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools.

You will be responsible for constructing and installing fencing solutions that meet client specifications while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Commercial & Domestic works including new build residential projects.

Candidate must be prepared to travel an area of travel approx 1 hour (no more than 1.5 hours) from Peterborough premisses in our vehicles.

Must be age 30 or over for insurance purposes.

Essential requirements,

CSCS card. Be prepared to be advanced DBS checked. Willing to undertake various health & safety online assessments which we provide for our accreditations (CQMS & CHAS) Work on own initiative & with a team. Clean driving licence. Own transport to get to our premises. Work to a very high standard.

Have some of your own tools. On occasion be flexible on work hours to achieve deadlines..

Duties

Construct and install various types of fencing, including wooden, & metal options. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete fencing projects. Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and develop efficient work plans. Conduct site assessments to determine the best fencing solutions based on terrain and client needs. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in fencing installation or related construction fields is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical drawings or plans accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
