Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring residential and commercial properties following fire or water damage, delivering the highest standards of workmanship and customer service.

This role requires professionalism, empathy, and the ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanour while supporting customers during what is often a stressful time.

Key Responsibilities

Attend properties affected by fire or water damage Remove debris and damaged materials, including contents Clean, sanitise, and restore affected areas Install drying and dehumidification equipment Restore and clean salvageable contents Document all work progress accurately and thoroughly Prepare detailed reports for insurance purposes Coordinate and manage job tracking and restoration timelines Liaise with loss adjusters, clients, and customers to ensure clear communication Coordinate repairs/restoration work with the internal Project Team Support the Managing Director and Project Team with general administration tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience in fire and flood restoration is essential Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Physically fit; capable of lifting heavy items and working in diverse environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills Confident using job management systems and reporting tools Ability to stay professional and supportive in sensitive customer situations Full, clean UK driving licence required
