Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in horticulture and garden maintenance, with experience in cultivating and caring for a variety of plants and outdoor spaces. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors, contributing to the beauty and health of gardens and green areas while developing your skills in gardening and landscape management.

Duties

Planting, pruning, watering, and fertilising a wide range of plants, shrubs, and trees using hand tools and power tools. Maintaining lawns, flower beds, and other landscaped areas through mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching. Installing and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules. Operating power tools such as hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, and leaf blowers safely and efficiently. Monitoring plant health and identifying pests or diseases to implement appropriate treatments. Ensuring all outdoor areas are kept tidy, safe, and visually appealing through regular maintenance. Supporting seasonal planting activities and garden clean-up tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience in gardening or horticulture is required; a genuine interest in plants is essential. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance. Experience operating power tools safely within a garden environment. Strong understanding of gardening principles, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance techniques. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Experience of driving a van in London very desirable & valid driving licence required.

Pay: 34,000.00-37,000.00 per year
