Experienced Plumber

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our growing team, working on residential, retail, and light commercial projects across Sussex and Surrey. As well as supporting our own kitchen and bathroom installations, you'll also be completing plumbing and heating projects on behalf of well-known high-street retailers.The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing experience, with confidence across kitchens, bathrooms, and general plumbing systems. Gas Safe registration is highly desirable, with higher earning potential for those able to install and service boilers. This is a customer-facing role, so you'll need to be approachable, friendly, and professional.At Woodson Kitchen Contractors, we're more than just a workplace; we're a family. Key Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs Install sinks, taps, baths, toilets, showers, appliances, and drainage systems Work on first and second fix plumbing for kitchens and bathrooms Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues effectively Interpret and work from technical drawings and plans Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines Ensure all work complies with health & safety and industry standards Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients Complete job documentation accurately and on time Maintain cleanliness and organisation on site For Gas Safe qualified engineers: install, service, and maintain boilers and heating systems

Essential Requirements

Strong plumbing experience (minimum 2-3 years) Ability to read and interpret technical plans Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Good communication skills with customers and colleagues Effective time management and attention to detail Full UK driving licence Own professional tools

Desirable Requirements

Gas Safe Registered (with higher earning potential) Experience with boiler installation, servicing, and repairs CSCS Card for site work Previous customer-facing experience Knowledge of local plumbing regulations Own van/transport during probation period
