Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to groundskeeping, including building, maintaining, and irrigating gardens and landscapes. The Groundworker will play a crucial role in ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-kept and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain structures, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Dig trenches and holes for planting or irrigation purposes. Assist in the installation and maintenance of structural elements to ensure stability. Assist the senior builder will all the ground works including tiling, flooring, skimming etc. Conduct groundskeeping duties such as clearing debris, maintaining pathways, and ensuring safety standards are met. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven knowledge with the ability to use tools effectively. Experience in ground work is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with electric or plumbing principles is advantageous. Strong physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks, including digging and lifting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards of work quality.
