We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the necessary skills to maintain and enhance various landscapes. This role involves physical labour and requires a good understanding of garden maintenance, groundskeeping, and the use of hand and power tools.
Duties
Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and hoes to carry out gardening tasks effectively.
Use power tools for various landscaping projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Assist in the installation of irrigation systems and other landscape features as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and equipment after use.
Requirements
Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain tools effectively.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods.
A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of work are met.
Good communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
A willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping techniques and equipment use.
Must have a valid UK Full driving licence.
