We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in
Lancing BN15
. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support in various healthcare settings within care homes and residential homes. This role involves assisting with patient care, administrative tasks, and ensuring a high standard of service to enhance patient experience.1 years experience working in similar environments within the Uk is essential for success in this position. Applicants should be willing to travel to the advertised location (BN15) and please note that no sponsonsorship will be provided for this role.
Responsibilities
Assist healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care across various departments. Support medication administration under the supervision of licensed personnel. Maintain a clean and organized environment within the care home setting. Engage with patients to provide excellent service and address their needs effectively. Participate in emergency procedures as needed, demonstrating proficiency in basic life support.
Requirements
Previous experience in a healthcare setting such as care & residential homes, hospitals or clinics is preferred Ability to perform basic life support techniques. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and empathy towards patients' needs. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.
