Experienced Herdsperson
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced herdsperson for our 300 head dairy herd + 300 youngstock. Milking twice daily through a 20:40 swingover parlour as part of a team of 2. Autumn block calving. Partially TMR fed in winter, outdoor grazing in the summer with good tracks and grazing infrastructure. All other associated tasks such as herd health, calving and rearing youngstock, vet visits, minor paperwork, night checks.
Modern buildings/setup. 20/40 swingover parlour, ADF, in parlour feeding. Joining a team of owner + part time staff and relief milkers. Alternate weekends off. Good annual leave package. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Position includes accommodation on farm.
NO OVERSEAS CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED.
