CBL (Clive Barford Ltd) HGV Driver (Class 1) at our centre in Pyle, Bridgend, South Wales

We are currently looking for an HGV Driver with a valid HGV licence with experience in loading and unloading construction machinery preferred.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery and collection of plant on our 7.5 tonne beavertail lorry. Class 1 is required as you will be tasked with the delivery of our towed mobile welfare units. As well as ensuring the working order of your vehicle and safely securing all loads carried. Duties also include: planning delivery schedules and routes; loading and unloading plant machinery; making sure loads are safely secured; following traffic reports and altering your route if necessary; completing delivery paperwork.

We are family run, private business specialising in plant hire and construction equipment through our seven centres covering Southern Britain.

This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week but you must be flexible with regard to hours due to the nature of the work. You will receive a very competitive salary depending on experience, pension and excellent company benefits including life assurance and optional health care cover at company rates.
