Join one of the leading names in Irish dance costume design.

Rising Star Designs is expanding and looking for an experienced, creative, and detail-driven costume designer to join our Belfast studio. You'll help bring our clients' visions to life -- from first sketch to final look -- creating distinctive, high-quality costumes worn by dancers worldwide.

We're looking for someone with proven design experience in Irish dance, a strong eye for proportion and colour, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design bespoke Irish dance costumes for global clients. Translate customer ideas into detailed sketches and digital designs. Collaborate with production, embroidery, and embellishment teams. Manage multiple client orders, meeting creative and production deadlines. Stay current with trends in Irish dance fashion and stagewear.

About You:

Experience in costume or fashion design (Irish dance preferred). Confident using Adobe Illustrator. Excellent sense of proportion, colour, and stage presence. Strong communication and time management skills. Reliable, self-motivated, and collaborative.
