We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with hands-on experience using both hand and power tools. This role involves working on various construction projects, including carpentry, joinery, roofing, and more. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
Perform carpentry work including the installation of doors, windows, and cabinetry.
Execute joinery tasks with precision to ensure structural integrity.
Assist in roofing projects, ensuring proper installation and finishing.
Carry out heavy lifting as required during construction activities.
Engage in construction painting to enhance the appearance of finished projects.
Support plumbing and masonry work as needed on-site.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and joinery is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong carpentry skills with an eye for detail in all aspects of work.
Knowledge of roofing techniques is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
Experience in construction painting is beneficial but not mandatory.
Familiarity with plumbing and masonry practices is a plus.
Electrical experience would be an asset but is not required.
