Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, equipment, and utensils to meet health and safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients under supervision Support the food service team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy periods Handle food items safely, adhering to proper storage and sanitation procedures in line with food handling regulations Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations and assisting with cleanup afterward Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimal use Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and uphold a positive work environment

Experience

required 1 year experience working in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is highly preferred Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous Experience in catering or banquet settings will be considered a strong plus Knowledge of cleaning procedures specific to food service establishments is essential Demonstrated ability to handle food safely and follow hygiene protocols consistently Prior hospitality or food service experience that showcases teamwork and reliability is desirable A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
