Key Responsibilities

As our Legal Cashier, you'll be responsible for:

Managing the firm's financial transactions in line with the Solicitors Accounts Rules Performing bank reconciliations, client ledger postings, and TT/BACS payments Processing bills, credit notes, and handling staff expenses and petty cash Producing month-end reports and supporting general financial administration Using our case management system (Leap) to maintain accurate records Using Xero to record all business transactions Resolving routine problems and queries Prepare and submit VAT returns
Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Proven experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance-related role is essential. Solid understanding of accounting principles and credit control High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Teams Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
