Job Opportunity: Experienced Machine Operator - Amada & Salvagnini

Location:

Bude, Cornwall

Hours:

37 to 42 hours per week, permanent. Day Shift or Evening Shift.

Salary:

12.38 to 16.38 depending on skills and experience + benefits. Shift Allowance of 17.5% (if applicable).

The Role

We are looking for a skilled

Machine Operator

to operate and maintain CNC press brakes and automated sheet metal processing equipment, including

Amada

and

Salvagnini

machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Amada press brakes and/or Salvagnini panel bending and punching machines

Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions Monitor machine output to ensure high-quality, precise parts Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines Follow health and safety protocols at all times

What We're Looking For

? Experience operating Amada and/or Salvagnini machinery (or similar CNC sheet metal equipment)
? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
? Problem-solving mindset and good mechanical aptitude
? Team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic
? Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
