Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to excellence in the kitchen. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations while fostering a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of food production and preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering their development within the culinary field. Assist in the planning of special events and catering services as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary methods. Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing teams. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for food and an understanding of current culinary trends. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
