About the Role:



We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

Experienced Nursery Practitioner

to join our vibrant and nurturing team. This role is ideal for a qualified professional with a strong background in early years education, who is committed to providing high-quality childcare and supporting children's learning and development in a safe, stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan, prepare and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote development in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. Monitor, assess and record each child's progress, sharing updates with parents and carers regularly. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment, ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed. Support children with personal care needs in a respectful and hygienic manner. Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive and supportive workplace. Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each child's well-being and learning. Ensure that all safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures are followed at all times. Contribute to team meetings, staff development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:



Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent). Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development. A proactive and flexible approach to teamwork.

Desirable:



Experience in key person responsibilities. Knowledge of Tapestry or similar observation software.
