Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. A valid driving licence is essential as the position may require travelling to different job sites.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
