Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. A valid driving licence is preferred, as travel to different job sites may be required.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Select and mix colours to achieve desired results Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and within specified timeframes Maintain tools and equipment in good condition Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while on-site
Skills
Proficient in construction painting techniques Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Valid driving licence is advantageous for site travel
