Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet quality and presentation standards Prepare a variety of menu items, demonstrating expertise in cooking techniques and culinary skills Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and hygiene practices Collaborate with management to develop new menu ideas and optimise existing offerings Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to foster a cohesive team environment Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Knowledge of food production processes and restaurant operations Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards service excellence
