Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related trades, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for mixing, applying, and finishing plaster. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as bricklayers, carpenters, and roofers to ensure seamless project execution. Perform repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching holes and cracks. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plastering. Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous. Experience in carpentry or roofing will be considered a plus. Basic welding skills are desirable but not essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
