We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and be proficient in various plumbing techniques and tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team on various projects, including residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine plumbing layouts.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks.
Perform pipe threading and assembly for various plumbing applications.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure timely project completion.
Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for the installation of plumbing materials.
Provide maintenance person services as needed for remodeling projects.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Experience reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Prior experience on construction sites is preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as necessary for job duties.
Carpentry skills are an asset for remodeling projects.
