Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of quality, overseeing the production process of vehicle wraps from digital printing to post-production finishing. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling wide format digital printers and plotters, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a passion for delivering exceptional finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Printing and Production Management:
Operate wide format digital printers and cutting plotters efficiently. Ensure all outputs meet CubeWraps' quality standards.
Finishing Processes:
Perform finishing tasks such as lamination, trimming, weeding, and masking of vinyl to prepare high-quality wraps for installation.
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough inspections and adjustments to guarantee that the final product adheres to customer specifications and company standards.
Maintenance:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all production equipment to ensure operational functionality and efficiency.
Workflow Optimisation:
Collaborate with the design and installation teams to streamline processes and reduce turnaround times while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Inventory Management:
Keep track of supplies and materials inventory; reorder items as needed to maintain production flow without interruptions.
Health and Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the production area, ensuring a safe work environment for all staff.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in operating wide format printers and plotters.
Strong knowledge of vinyl handling techniques, including lamination, trimming, weeding, and masking.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Prior experience in a vehicle wrapping or similar industry is preferred.
